The many phases of motherhood, from trying to conceive, through pregnancy and the postpartum period, to raising your children, can be some of the most rewarding but challenging times in a woman’s life. While stress, worry, and sadness are natural and expected, these feelings can also be overwhelming. If it seems that your emotions are “beyond normal,” are interfering with your overall functioning, or you just would like an objective source of support while you figure things out, it can be helpful to talk to someone.
